We (Andy and Fiona Triplow) set up the Old Radiator Company business in Kent in 2000 following an extensive hunt in salvage yards for items for the refurbishment of our Victorian house which needed original features added back. We toured around many yards to source suitable original cast iron radiators but we were disappointed as these salvage yards were only able to supply the size/styles they have in stock and  these were only offered in a lacquered finish.  We realised we were not alone in wanting these wonderful original features to fit into modern central heating system but not wanting to compromise on heat output, style or colour and so the Old Radiator Company was born. Our investment over the years purchasing original radiators leads us to believe we are the largest stockist of original radiators in the country.

Our dream was be to able to advise and offer customers the exact original cast iron radiators their project required. We spent the first few years developing our expertise in refurbishing and vitally taking radiators apart and rebuilding so we could modify the number of sections (and thus the length) of our stock of radiators (we currently have ~ 2000 radiators ready to be refurbished). We have grown over the years in knowledge and whilst our stock is depleting due lack of supply and high demand we still believe we are still the largest in Europe (probably the world) for reclaimed radiators and have a showroom in Kent to showcase the different styles and finishes available. We have recently moved our showroom Ramsgate and have many ready to go radiators so you can see the finish articles and discuss your requirements. We are passionate about our high quality product, which will last another 100 years, and pride ourselves on having many returning customer and recommendations supplying more than 1000 radiators per year in both Old Radiator Company supplied radiators and refurbs.

We work for both Contractors and homeowners and have carried out projects ranging from over 300 matching radiators to just one radiator.
