The efficiency of radiators, old and new, is measured in British Thermal Units (BTU). The dimensions of a room are used to calculate the amount of BTU needed to heat that room. Radiators all have a known and calculated BTU output. Using the BTU Calculator it is easy to calculate the size of radiator you need to heat your room. |
1. Select the type of room. Traditionally a Lounge, Bathroom or Living area would be the warmest rooms in the house, secondly Bedrooms and finally Kitchen, Hallways and Common Areas. Our BTU calculator will take this into account. |
2. From the 3 drop down options select the Length, Width & Height of the room. |
3. Double Glazing, French Windows, North or South Facing will affect the BTU requirements. |
4. Select a radiator - Using this drop down list you can select a particular radiator style, a family or leave it as it is to view all options. |
5. Once you submit the form you will then be presented with options based upon your criteria - if you have any questions at all then please call us on 01233 850082 or send us an email. |
